Litho density tool
WebDrNuc is designed to provide an accurate "first look" at nuclear logs. Some values are theoretical based on the rock type, porosity and fluid compositions. The bulk density (rhoB) is a good example. However, the nuclear apparent porosity (NPHI) is based on Monte Carlo simulations of a neutron-porosity logging tool in an 8" borehole. Web9 apr. 2024 · The litho-density and compensated neutron crossplot for the Matulla Formation in Tawila N-1 Well is presented in Fig. 7b, c. The photoelectric capture measurement taken by Schlumberger litho-density tool (LDT) is very sensitive to barite, and so it can detect fractures that have been invaded by barite mud (Fig. 7b).

WebThe Litho-Density tool uses a gamma source (1.5Ci, Cs137) and two detectors of different spacing to contact the sidewall directly. Based on Photoelectric Effect and Compton Effect, corresponding energy windows are set up, recording the gamma ray of various windows, and measuring the lithology and density of formation. Web9 jul. 2024 · A new tool, the litho-density tool (LDT), has been used along with conventional logging tools in a mid-Jurassic sand/shale sequence. The LDT simultaneously measures P e (effective photoelectric cross-section) and ρ a (apparent bulk density). P e is a function of atomic number which in turn reflects lithology or mineral composition. photocard kpop dimensionsWebThe accuracy of the density measurement of the litho-density tool is approximately 0.01 to 0.02 g/cm3, whereas that of the formation density tool is approximately 0.02 to 0.03 … how does the hydrogen fuel cell workWebThe LithoStar ® service from Sperry Drilling makes wireline-quality measurements while drilling for accurate reserves calculations and petrophysical interpretations.
