Most have been told to load it with the Universal load data. Can anyone back this advice? Has anyone here used this powder? If it is like Universal, I need info on .38, .357, 45LC, 9mm, and 12 gauge. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

WebMay 14, 2015 · The 1 lb. container has more load data on it than the 8 pounder. I tested this powder through my Chronograph and the label is about right. But I am not absolutely sure exactly what kind of powder it is. You can find photos of the CSB powders here. Looks like CSB-5 to me. (But you can't judge powder by what it looks like.)

WebJul 17, 2015 · There's still a lot of 55 Lb barrels of CSB-1 floating around. Problem is, you have to be an FFL type 6 or 7 to move it (a 55 Lb keg). Most of the folks selling from barrels are local FFL's who were (and are) smart enough to get in on those buys, and selling it locally at gun shows, and what not.
